Ankia's interest and passion for photography has developed since a young age and led to her studying photography at Tshwane University of Technology in Pretoria. During her studies she worked as a wedding photographer with an award winning wedding photography team, Um-Sha-Tu.

 

After her studies she returned to Kwazulu Natal where she futhered her experience working with well known and accomplished wedding photographer, Jacques Breedt.

 

It was inevitable that Ankia's interest in wildlife and nature photography would lead to her becoming a Professional Guide. Her guiding career has taken her to some top lodges in the Greater Kruger National Park region where she has photographed countless bush weddings. Ankia is now based in Marloth Park where she lives her passion as a wedding photographer.
